The town High Street and the fairground is a alcohol free zone
Bus and rail directions
The town is served by Stagecoach Fife routes 6 6A and 7.
The bus will drop you right at the fairground.
First Scotrail serves the town, and from the station,
follow the signs for 'Award winning beach'. This will take you to the links were the fairground is situated.
Accommodation
There are some hotels and B&BS in Burntisland. Kinghorn has a big caravan park, and there are more hotels in Kirkcaldy. burntisland information center will give more information
Amenities
The nearest toilets are at the car park, next to the links park
Shops and banks Rbs and Lloyds Tsb banks are in the town centre.
Fish and chips / Indian food / Chinese food / Italian food / Thai food
And there all so food hot dogs hamburgers at the top off the fairground.
The nearest petrol station is located in Kirkcaldy, just near Seafield Gate. The petrol station is at the roundabouts near B&Q. Other petrol stations are also available in Kirkcaldy or Dalgety Bay

Is a 25 meter swimming pool and has flumes and a wave machine.

Burntisland is a pleasant seaside town with a funfair throughout the summer the Link’s famous annual family Fair is one of Scotland’s largest summer traveling fairs, and are Scotland’s second oldest games dating back to 1652. The Showmen at Burntisland
The White’s – Strand’s– Wilmot’s - Miller’s – Gamble’s - Paris - Knowles’s - Hickey’s - Hancock’s – Codona’s – Reid’s – Stringfellow and Wheatley’s are well known in the town as they go to Burntisland for the full term locals and travellers call each others by their first names and I hope this stays alive.
Generations of local people have been going to Burntisland annual family Fair to enjoy the fair that they remember from their child hood and now take their children and grandchildren to see. Generations of the same families of travellers who have been providing the funfair entertainment in Burntisland for it is a feeling of anticipation that has been shared by countless generations, right down to the present what is not just their business but also there way of Life.
